Contract number: 101112089 (Horyzont) / KDT/2022/32/AIMS5.0/2023 (NCBR)
Duration: 01.05.2023 - 30.04.2026 (36 miesięcy)
Budget: 1.170.000,00 EUR
Funding: 351.000,00 EUR (Horyzont) / 245.322,40 EUR (NCBR)

Project objective

Strengthening European digital sovereignty in comprehensively sustainable manufacturing through adopting, extending and deploying AI-enabled hardware and software components and systems across the industrial value chain to further increase overall efficiency.

Expected results

AIMS5.0 is an extremely ambitious project intended to serve as a benchmark for achieving sustainable manufacturing, supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) as an integrated approach across all phases of production value chains in 9 industrial domains. In essence, AIMS5.0 will deliver:

  • AI-based electronic hardware components and systems for sustainable manufacturing.
  • AI tools, methods and algorithms for sustainable industrial processes.
  • SoS-based architectures and microservices for AI-supported sustainable manufacturing.
  • Semantic modelling and data integration for an open sustainability platform.
  • AIMS5.0 will lay the foundations for a values-based digital society in Europe, moving towards the ideal of Society 5.0.

DAC's role

In the project, DAC is a technology provider and research partner, working on the implementation of an Open Access platform and a highly automated MLOps framework. In addition, DAC.digital acts as the county coordinator and leader of work package 8, while also being a member of the project's Steering Committee.
