Project objective

Development and pilot deployment of a prototype of the COGiS system – a fully functional, pre-production digital platform supporting farm management, tested in real-world conditions in 6 partner farms of the EIP Operational Group.

Specific objectives

• Deployment of a digital cattle herd registration and management system integrated with the national IRZ animal identification system.
• Development and pilot deployment of an early-warning module for crop threats based on satellite data (Galileo/Copernicus) and AI algorithms.
• Deployment of an agricultural vehicle fleet management module integrated with the CEPiK national vehicle register.
• Verification of the functionality, operational stability and usefulness of the system in everyday farming practice under real-world conditions in 6 partner farms.

Expected results

• A ready prototype/pilot of the COGiS system, tested in real-world conditions and deployed in 6 partner farms.
• Shorter farmer response time to crop threats thanks to early notifications, reducing production losses caused by drought, frost, flooding and disease.
• Fewer errors and less time spent on recording and reporting herd events thanks to automated data flow to the IRZ system.
• Reduced risk of financial penalties and downtime resulting from missed vehicle inspection and insurance deadlines.
• Increased digital competences of farmers participating in the EIP Operational Group.
• Technical and implementation documentation of the system, serving as a model that can be reused and disseminated among other farms and other EIP Operational Groups.
• A basis for further functional development and commercialisation of the solution in a subscription model on the domestic market.
